Having another kid does not always give you a chance to be a parent.
I'm scared for th future of this baby, and my other grands if she gets them . Then 6 months later it falls apart and I have 3 damaged kids to heal. If dss did take the baby. I think I'd step back on another. More likely she calls me losing her mind or drops baby off and doesn't return ...I'm getting more anxious as due date approaches .
We bought a camper. How long will I get to enjoy it before I lose what's left of my life to an infant?
here lay awake & have these thoughts, or have had them jn the past. I've seen a couple of people post about their daughter keeping a new baby while continuing to promise the older ones she would get them back, too, but the only scenario I read follow uo on was the older kids stayed with the grandma. I don't know if you can set your mind ahead of time to refuse to take the baby or not. Some people definitely could. I'm one who would cave as soon as i bonded with that baby........but then again, finances really must be considered, too. Giving up camping & being able to finally get out & about more freely with the older grands is a huge consideration. I would insist on a very slow & gradual transition if there is really a chance the older ones might go back to her. I would have a PI do a background check on the boyfriend before giving her unsupervised visits, too.
There have been times I have said these two would be better off if they had been giving up for adoption, it would have been a permanent way to keep bio mom away. I pray everyday she stays away and lets us live in peace.
Stand your ground and do not take another one. I think the more we are willing to take the more they will have. There should be mandatory sterilization.
She then tells me that she is planning to abort this child because, she already has one that she can't handle. I already have two, 9 and 14. But, I can't stand the thought of what she is planning. I told her there were other options. How much more can my heart stand?
What is wrong with these people that just throw children around and away?
for aborting........how sad.
Unless there is a baby born and there is paternity test go on the assumption she was never pregnant.
