I mentioned to my son that he should get fixed and he said no-way. I think to him that is the only great thing he thinks he can do. It is very sick to me and so unfair to the children in these situations.
God will bless you for helping them,
Judi
What can I say to give you hope and comfort? I often feel the same way. I know I find solace in knowing that I am not the only one that this has happened to and that it is not (all) my fault.
God Bless you for all that you do and for your kind and caring heart. Is there others in your large family that help you with all of this?
I gave all 3 of the mothers each others phone numbers and they have been talking and have come up with a plan that I think will be good for all of them.
M2's parents passed away when she was 12,she was an only child so she inherited a 5 bedroom house when she turned 18.She has invited the other 2 to move in with her so they can help each other and the babies can be together. This way they will be able to babysit for each other while they work,so that will take away one worry/bill for them. They have decided they will share all of the bills.
I got a call from a social worker who was assigned to m2 when she gave birth alone. She said that when she found out that the other 2 mothers were also going to living with her her supervisor told her to go ahead and help all 3.She said that she will only be able to help for about 6 months but that there were alot of things that she was already working to help them get settled. She said she had some churches who were going to help pay their bills for 6 months and help with food and even were going to adopt them all for Christmas. She said that she was even working getting them each a car through a program that takes vehicles that are seized in drug busts and gives them to people who needs them to get to work. That will help out alot because the only one who has a car is m2 and the motor is about to go in it.
I think things might be looking up for them. The best part is that they now have what they needed most ,A FAMILY.They have found "sisters" in each other ,they have their babies and they have "parents" in me and my hubby and we will help them and be here for them all we can.I cant wait for my step son to see that they dont need him, they are going to be just fine without him.
Not that it will be easy, but it will be easier together than separate! I am just so happy for them! :) If there is anything I can do long distance, please let me know! Do they need baby clothes? Household items? I have friends who would help out, I know. :)
