This story is horrifying, and I can easily see either of my gd's parents in it with our gd, just not on the bus, but surely in the car. So sad.

I use to hear people say, "Come quickly Lord Jesus!" I can understand why, who can bear things like this and worse things that happen to children all over? It makes me ill.

Very, very sad. I've seen heroin addicts nod out like this too many times. It's horrifying. I pray to God someone steps in to intervene on that child's behalf & maybe watching herself doing this could be the wake-up call this mom needs. Makes you wonder what happened after the video.......she looked incapable of walking off that train or whatevershe was riding. Poor little girl....God help her.

It's amazing how many of my FB friends speculated that maybe she had just had dental work! Others said that this would "wake her up." I'm sure they all thought I was being mean for assuming it was drugs - and I bet they would have jumped in to "help" her with money, housing, clothing, etc.

Dental work.......God how I wish I was that naive' & unfamiliar with this behavior.....

I hope the girl gets a really good, loving loyal foster family who makes her life easier than its ever been. Given this woman's history, WHY DID SHE HAVE CUSTODY OF THAT CHILD AT ALL?????

GMa, that's the puzzle. She'd been in trouble with the law -- a HOOKER, for crying out loud! And I'm sure she must've been known to CPS.
Why she was allowed to keep that little girl is a mystery.

I see so many of these on the news. I live in a fairly small town, couple months ago there were 2 stories in the same police blotter. 13 yo called police bad cause he was I. Hotel and had t seen his mom in several days, last seen doing meth before she went out. They found her in jail for prostitution.
Other story they pulled a woman over at 2am, driving without a license she said she needed to get home because neighbor was watching her 1 and 3yo. They contacted neighbor, who said she wasn't aware those kids were home alone...both times the kids went to dss. I hope they go to grandparents or get adopted. Sick useless bios

These stories just make be angrier and angrier that the couple at my church (fosters) lost the baby to the bio mom. She has done NOTHING to prove that she's in recovery except to pass a urine test.

The fosters were the only family this poor little boy ever knew, because she lost him at birth. Then suddenly she decided she wanted him back. And because she went to rehab, she got him. Even the bio dad wanted the fosters to keep him.

All I can think is that one day she'll be nodding off, and the poor little boy will be back in the system again.

How sad ! The Mother is all mad.....too bad she chose drugs over her child. I pray that the little girl goes to loving GP and NEVER has to be near that woman again !

This is just sickening. It's obvious that this little girl has already taken upon herself the role of caring for her mother. So sad.

It's all the more appalling to me because I watched my own daughter do the very same thing with her 2 week old baby in her arms. Nodding off while feeding her a bottle, eventually the bottle slipped out of gd's mouth and gd slid further and further down mom's lap until she was about to tumble off onto the tile-ever-concrete floor. If I hadn't been there to catch her that's what would have happened.

Such a tragedy, this drug epidemic.

The saddest thing of all is how much this little girl obviously loves &cares for her mom & how heartbroken she will be having to be separated from her, wishing instead that her mom would "get better" & choose her over her current lifestyle.
