When Pinky uses she gets into that "I'll take youse to court" mood and I just say "fine, see you!" and nothing EVER comes of it. Just to take us to court would be too much trouble for her, let alone showing up. And if she won? OMG, getting three kids back would be waaaaaay too much, it would interfere with her important things!
My dd told me friends" told her I'm trying to take her kids away. Dss gave me the oldest, after a lengthy court battle that almost ended in adoption. and she called me to come get the youngest when she was homeless and jobless . I reminded her I love the kids , and the i know the kids love her as well, and that I'm 45 and supposed to be able to come and go as I please , not raising another family. They get these ideas in there heads because they are afraid they are failures, and easier to blame us when they are the ones who made the decisions that have brought us to this place.i am sad for what they are missing, but these bios can't cope with reality long enough to raise kids. Unfortunately for the bios, these layaway kids keep growing up.
