I just found out two things about my husband's daughter -- and I can't BELIEVE IT!!!

First: She got an abscess from shooting heroin and went to the ER. While she was there, they put her into a clinical trial to test a new antibiotic - she got $50 a visit. She threw the pills away and made up side effects (like nausea, etc.). So one fine day, someone will drop dead from new drugs because they were tested on lying drug addicts!!!!!!

Second: Because she's an addict she can collect SSI!!!! She found a doctor to write down that she's bipolar (she most certainly is not) and she's approved for a $7,000 retroactive check and she'll get a monthly income to pay for her drugs.

DOES ANYONE BELIEVE THIS????? It's beyond belief. Is THIS how far our nation has fallen?

I know someone who also got SS for his 'disability' beginning when he was 25. He was supposedly bi-polar but in reality was a drug addict also - had been to rehab many times. He married to a relative of mine during a time when he was not using. He left his drugs out, their 2-year-old son swallowed some and fortunately he survived without brain damage. My relative divorced him. He dropped dead when his heart stopped last year at age 38 after first freaking out and beating his son's cat to death with a baseball bat. I do feel sorry for the poor cat, but thank God it was not his son who was beaten.

Another ex-in-law also got SS and disability and his only real disability was alcoholism and pot smoking. Our tax dollars supported the leach until he also died of Hepatitis from his drug use at age 57 just a couple of weeks ago.

Grandparents have to sacrifice their pensions to raise their innocent grandchildren and keep them safe while the druggies get free money and medical care paid for by the taxes we pay. Far from fair.

There are always injustices but Sara, I would report her and the drug company for fraud to social security and in the process if there is going to past monies due, perhaps they can divert some to her kids/??? My sil gave up custody of our gs but continued to take his ss checks from my deceased daughter's benefits. I report him and we got the $9000 and they were going after him for repayment and fraud. It sure helped at a desperate time.

As soon as I know the SSI is a done deal I will report it. I also want to report the drug trial to the hospital that sponsored it. To me that one's far more dangerous. If they're using druggies in their clinical trials, and if the druggies are doing what my husband's daughter did, there's a significant chance that the trial results will be totally skewed.

She said she would report mild side effects (like nausea) or no side effects and collect her $50. But she hadn't taken any of the drugs!!!

That scares the daylights out of me. It makes me wonder why so many new drugs are causing serious side effects. Who were they REALLY tested on?????!!!????

And by the way, my husband's daughter said she found out about these SSI scams from her druggie friends. Apparently they're ALL bipolar and ALL on disability.

It makes me sick.
