Here's my update but before I share, I would like to say hi to all the new people that have joined the group.
Ok, so here goes. We are raising 2 of our grands by my DD. We've had them basically since birth. We "got" out gd when she was 6 weeks old and our gs came home to our home after he was born. They are now almost 6 and 7. We FINALLY got custody (well joint custody) on April 1st of this year with reasonable supervised visitations for the bio's. Neither bio has exercised their right to their supervised visitations since April. My dd spends virtually little to no time with HER children.
She had another daughter almost 2 years ago and now informed me that she is pregnant yet again with another child. I was LIVID to say the least. I told her as much let my feelings be known about it. Don't get me wrong, I am happy to have another member added to my family but she does so little for her 2 we have now. I asked her if the 4 times a year she sees them will be less now.

We are raising the oldest gd since we were granted legal guardianship of her 3-4 years ago. Bio's still have their rights and mother has visitation rights.
Mother dearest showed up this past Monday and called wanting to see her daughter. I was like, you know it helps and works a lot better if you let us know WHEN exactly you are going to be in town and not just call once you are here and expect to see her! Of course, Mother didn't like my comment. Long story short we worked a 45 minute visit into our already packed schedule on Monday.
Now.....she has a 3 yr old son and a 1.5 yr old daughter as well. They are in State custody. All 3 kids have different fathers. The State just proved who the boy's dad is and he is excited and is going to fight to get his son! We are a little concern what that means for the little girl. We really aren't able to take her in due to my health,etc.
The sadder thing is that Mother's younger sister told us that the last she knew Mother wasn't using any type of birth control!!!! She is 24 and has 3 kids and apparently has no clue where kids come from yet. So apparently, Mother hasn't learned a thing but yet she wonders why she doesn't have custody of any of her kids!!!! Gee...go figure!!
Pinky did that immediately after giving birth to her third, and that took one worry off the table, at least.
