Ag told lawyer CPS refused to settle

yep, got the word tonight...CPS refused to settle this case even though their test shows from their doctor that we are safe and the kids should be returned. Have I said in the past this cw and supervisor are egotistical idiots and they are proving there egos are far more important to them then the welfare of the children? Yes we will go to court in friday.

Holy COW! They are control freaks for sure! I hope the doctor's evaluation weighs more than their opinions.

I had a feeling that would be the case. Sounds like CPS doesn't settle these cases very easily and sounds like they will continue to fight this. I'm so sorry you got that news. Hopefully, the judge in this case will see a lot of weight in that doctors report. However, CPS may go into court basing their opinion of not returning the children on more than just the doctors report, so be prepared for that and don't be shocked if they bring up other factors.

This is so frustrating for you I know! Hang in there.

Oh, I am so sorry and sad for you and GKids. I have followed your story and I agree that the SW & Supervisor's ego is large and that it's not about the the kids. My last SW had a large Ego, too. My husband and I just fed his ego and didn't make waves until we had a 1yr under our belt to prove ourselfes so, it would have taken a lot of lies for him to take our gs away. I jump with joy when they switched SW's after a year.

I wish you could get someone or and Orgination that can back you or if you could go public with this.
