Today I took my 4 year old to swim pactice, had a bone scan took to boys to play at an indoor park shopped for my mother's business, meet with a caregiver and my inlaws (trying to find some help) and from 6pm to 2am worked. (My days are alot like this one) My husband was taking care of the boys while I was working tonight.. I get home at 230am the boys are asleep on the couch in their dirty clothes, dishes are in the sink. Now I know that my husband worked all day but so did I. I am caring for my mother,her house my inlaws their house my family our home and a business. I handle all of our finanices clean the house and all that comes with that. He goes to work, mowes the lawn once a week, changes the oil in our cars what every three months or so. I am so mad right now I want to scream. I know that this is such small stuff incompaire to everything all us of have been through and are still going through but AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!. I would just like to feel like I am not fighting life alone that he was in there fighting with me. I am so glad I have all of you.

I am in the same place except I share the home with my x husband. He is retired and we share guardianship of our gds. I work 3-5 days a week and help care for my Dad. It is not easy knowing xH is watching TV 6-10 hours everyday while I barely have time to relax. The summer is a bit easier since my hours are less but geezzz he sits watching TV beside the laundry room you would think he could at least fold the towels.

Sharing the house with him allows me to work plus he is around if Mom and Dad have an emergency while I all at work. He is home to get the girls off of the school bus. He is also 12 years older them I am and disabled. Sharing the house also enables both of us to have our evening out while the other is home with the girls.

The good and the bad seem to balance for now.

Well I swear I married Jesus Christ who always had his mother anticipate his needs! Lol. Whhat i could geten we took our gs in my disabled husband, my mother w Alzheimer's, dysfunctional sil and toddler gs i worked three jobs. My mother only wanted to wash the kitchen floor on her knees or dusy the legs of my dining room. Table, even tough she could not get up when she was finished! My husband agreed to cook but only hot dogs and beans! Sil?Forget it! -, i gave up and settled for what i could get. As you said, compared to all we had been through, this was small stuff

I've gone out to community meetings, only to come home to three kids and Pop on the sofa with popcorn, soda, blankets, pillows and the dog, too! HAHAHA

My husband is a neat freak, but he sees "babysitting" as a time to bond with the kids.

There's a joke going around on Facebook that if a man takes out the trash he feels he has cleaned the house, mowed the lawn, cooked dinner and cleaned up after.

I'm in the same boat. I do it all wake up at 6an to get the kids ready my husband needs his beauty sleep.wheni calm for him to get up and help. His answer: I don't understand what you need help with? And ladies that is the problem. They don't getalltbe work that goes I to raising children.

And this is why my engagement went out the window when I took on my 1st grandchild to raise!! And my "boyfriend" of 13 years now still gets impatient & hateful with my boys more than I like..........even though in all fairness, overall, he's really good with them & they love him. I don't think we'd make it if we were all living together though. Weekends are enough, & sometimes, still too much.

8legs sometimes the small stuff can be just as infuriating. It's get to get it out of your system. We've all been in similar positions and it's better to let it out of your system on here than lose it at home
