This community is dedicated to grandparents who are the primary caregivers of their grandchildren. In cases where the parents are not willing or able to provide adequate care for their children, grandparents may take on the role of primary caregivers. Join the support group to find support, share your experience, and get advice from other members.

I had threw days with no kids. I spent Easter in the bathroom. Monday I spent the day alone sitting in the middle of no where in my kayak enjoying rhw quite. Today I went to work and had to leave to rush to the hospital. Dad fell and broke his hip. Hoping he is well enough foe surgery tomorrow.
The girls are back home, happy and bouncing after spending time with Omi and Poppa. They just read cards from their mom and one is writing Mom a note. Damn Mom says she is trying to arrange things so she can see them.
My eldest granddaughter needs to use my computer for her homework, and I didn't want the Grandparents link up in the toolbar where she could see it. So I put it in the bookmarks menu where it isn't there in my face every day. HAHA
Now I have to actually remember to check out the group - I'll get better at this. LOL
