This is a long post and I hope you bear with me.

We had our court date today with the Attorney General's office for Child support, custody and visitation. I was going in to this with what I wanted and wouldn't waver. I told my hubby that if I didn't get what I wanted, then I would stop the proceedings and hire an attorney. I have spent the past 5 months or so going back through my documents and every thing I've done up to this point. I've also spent the past 5 months stressed out to the point my psoriasis has been acting up pretty bad.

So we sat for most of the day waiting to be called back to talk to someone. My dd was there but the bio loser was not. He defaulted by not showing up. My dd was getting agitated because they weren't going fast enough for her and she wanted to leave.

Once we were called back there to finally talk to someone, all kinds of heck let lose (from her). The woman asked me what I was seeking and I told her child support from both parents, sole custody and supervised visitations. The woman asked me if the bio loser had supported the kids in the past 6 years and I told her yes and showed her my records. She asked about my dd and supporting the children and that's where the fun truly started. My dd said that I was lying and that she was supporting my babies all she could and that she paid for part of the kids birthday party, 1 time. I tried to tell my dd that paying for a bday party wasn't support and she just couldn't understand that. I was explaining to the woman in the court that my dd paid $30.00 for 1/2 of my gs's toddler bed many years ago, bought them a package of diapers once, bought a bag of pull ups once and 2 tooth brushes, a tube of tooth paste and a dvd in the past 6 years.

She started raising her voice and kept cutting me off. She tried to say she paid more than that and how I was bamboozling her and how I should've told her (my dd) what the CS woman was going to say. I would start to say something and she'd cut me off. She told them we kidnapped her children and wouldn't give them back. She told them that I let the bio loser leave our house with the kids but wouldn't let her and on and on and on. I told my DD that we have asked her to help support her kids for the past 5 1/2 years with at least $25.00 a week or $50.00 a month.

Then she started yelling at the CS woman for the courts. Oh boy. I asked the CS WOMAN if I needed to stop this mediation and consult an attorney. My dd's response was DON'T YOU THREATEN ME! There was no threat there. My dd couldn't understand that she has to pay CS and poor her how she can't afford it and got really good at playing the victim role. They saw right through her. The CS Woman said that the state goes on minimum wage and it doesn't matter if she's working or not and she needs to get a job at least with McDonalds or somewhere to support the kids. Any way, her bottom line was that she didn't think she should have to pay CS. Any way, she got so bad that the CS worker ended the meeting herself and said we could talk to their attorney's. I asked her if we were going to talk to them separately or together and she said, Ohhh separately (with a smile on her face), to which I thanked her many times. My dd went into the hallway of the court house and started going off on my hubby. Bad mistake. She tried to get everyone around her to feel sorry for her and yadda yadda yadda.

Bottom line is, because I know this is getting long, We have either managing conservatorship (sole custody) or joint managing conservatorship (can't remember which one), with both parents paying child support and supervised visitations in our home with reasonable visitations at our discretion.

I AM SUPER EXCITED! I don't have to deal with this anymore.
