Grandparents Raising Children Support Group
This community is dedicated to grandparents who are the primary caregivers of their grandchildren. In cases where the parents are not willing or able to provide adequate care for their children, grandparents may take on the role of primary caregivers. Join the support group to find support, share your experience, and get advice from other members.
SO to everyone going through this, here is my advice for you. Document document document every thing, no matter if you think in miniscule or not. Dates of phone calls, dates and times of visitations, appearances of bios at visitations, receipts of things bought for your gc, school records, insurance documents (like when you put them on insurance etc) and any and everything else you can think of.
What I did was got a day planner and marked on each week, if the bio's came to visit or not. If there were no visits, I entered the days of the week (EG: 3-31 to 4-6, No Visits and No phone calls to the children from either parent.). If you think it's important to track, then track it.
God Bless
Thank you again so much.
