This is an interesting article as i think when our kids make irrational decisions or drug abuse sometimes there are underlying issues. I to have depression due to a non active thyroid at this time but I handle it different my thought process is mostly clear cause I don't abuse drugs..

OK so i know I didn't post the article right so you could just click on it but ha I'm old, tired and don't think right because of my thyroid....LOL Every now and then we need a little laughter.

I honestly don't know which came first with my daughter: the mental illness or the drug abuse.

I do know that whichever it is, it doesn't excuse her behavior, nor does it make me love her any less. I do wish there was some better way to deal with her than just not having her in our lives. (That's her choice at this point, not ours...but I'll admit I'm relieved that I don't have to deal with her right now).

Drugs can atler brin mapping which affects behavior. Understnding this can help you deal w her behavior. Ifyou don't expect the rightbehavior. You won't feel so bad. It's not easy tp watch your child go down yhis path.
