Happy Thanksgiving and safe travels to all who will be on the road. My brother and his family are headed up here tomorrow in the predicted snow storm. I am hoping the boats do not get canceled due to the weather. The rest of the family lives close by. Our Thanksgiving will start Wed dinner time and so through Friday.

I'm working Thanksgiving so we are having our dinner on Friday. GS is going to my ex's for Thanksgiving day.

We had a terrific Thanksgiving!

No Pinky, but it was actually strange - the first time she never even called to ask if she could join us. My husband said that if she called to let her come because he thinks she's in her last days. I think he's correct. Her brother told me she's now using both heroin and meth. Not a good combination at all.

Sara, I'm sorry to hear Pinky is on that road. It's a good thing she isn't contacting the kids or you since I'm sure it would upset you all. My DD drove up to camp for our dinner, but thank God she went home shortly after. She isn't bothering me since I washed my hands of her, I just don't like being around her. she doesn't show up for church anymore and we'll see if she shows up for this months school concert. My little10yr old texts her with the invites. I'm sure the more she doesn't respond to the less my 10 yr old will invite....It's just a matter of time.
