Last night at a party, one of my coworkers who is usually very quiet and shy said that he had noticed that I've been eating junkfood for the past couple of weeks while I've been on steroids and he had decided he was going to say something to me cause I was doing so good on our weight loss challenge at work. Aw! :) It was sweet, I assured him that I'm back in the groove on Monday.
I have my walking shoes in the car and will keep them there for walks. Woohoo!
I know I've gained back some of the weight I lost but I'm not too terribly concerned...I have time to lose it, it's not a sprint, it's a marathon! DT, I sound like you "the outdoors isn't going anywhere" and neither is my ass! lol!
This morning I did 45 minutes of intervals with light weight/high reps and then did a 50 minute power yoga practice. I only got 4 days in this week and I'm trying not to obsess about that. They've been 2 hour workout days but still. See? My number fixation??? Anyhow, my naturopath has already informed me that she's going to want to change my exercise routine but not now because she doesn't want to freak me out. I think that'll be a bit of a fight. I've had concerts since Friday and today is no different. Be well everybody!
Suni- ya had to go and mention carrot cake...my all time favorite...thanks alot
Just remember this isn't boot-camp. It's okay to eat some junk or be lazy once in awhile, and you don't have to constantly kick yourselves for doing it. Just get up again tomorrow (works for me!)
