So...I finally got in to see my doctor about my lab results...yeah, apparently nothing is of any great concern!! Though my Pdoc is a bit of a different story...he was all concerned because I told him that I had been playing with my meds again...but, not stopping them...just taking MORE of them instead. He wasn't too thrilled about that. He told me to go back onto my regular doses...and try to keep it there. So, I've been doing that again. *sigh*

Tomorrow I go into the dentist to have 2 little fillings put in...and the 30th, i go and see the neurologist. *sigh* I hope somebody finds something...cause I know something's not right!!!

Now I've had my CT scan...and am waiting to have my EEG this weekend. Then next week I go and I see the neurologist for a follow-up appointment to discuss the findings. I'm kind of hoping that they found something worth discussing. Otherwise, just like with the sleep lab doctor, it's a useless visit. At least in my own opinion. I think there should always be some sort of news. Even if it's something bad...at least it would account for all the stuff that I feel...and I wouldn't feel like such a hypercondriact. Seriously...cause right now, that's what I'm feeling like sometimes. I go in to see the stupid doctors and they never find anything wrong. Or they dismiss everything!!! It's annoying as all hell!!! And it really frustrates me when they just dismiss a potential problem.

Anyways, I won't have any news on the scan or the EEG until next week. But hopefully there will be something Oh, and my Pdoc...wants to change my antipsychotic. He thinks that I may do better on a different one. He said he's just waiting for it to be covered by the government plan so that it's not so expensive for me to go and get. Until it's approved by Pharmacare...he's not going to change my meds. He thinks that it'll happen this year. So, here's hoping. Who knows...maybe that will make a difference. :)

So...we've discovered something from some tests that had been run recently. My prolactin is incredibly HIGH!!!! While the ideal range is 5.0-23.0....my ranges have been 33.6 and 51.3. Which is enormous. So, I'm waiting to find out when my MRI is going to be. I just have to wait to hear back from my doctor's office. When they have a confirmation date. I also have a pelvic ultrasound next week...so, we'll see if there's anything in either my ovaries or my uterus. Hopefully they find why I had a nearly 4 month cycle!!!! Seriously...it was crazy. I'm hoping that it's taken a permanent break now. Well...not completely permanent...but long enough to have a "normal" cycle again.

My GP thinks that my prolactin levels are/were the cause of the prolonged cycle. Guess we'll find out. :) MRI is a good step. Hopefully they'll see why those levels are so high. Thanks for listening. Anyone.

So, I got the results of my pelvic ultrasound. Yeah, my doctor's sending me to a gynecologist. Apparently on the one ovary they could find...there was a "bunch of cysts"...as he put it. So, he wants to get that seen to. AND he's going to be pushing his staff harder to call and see what's up with the MRI appointment...cause I still haven't heard about that yet.

So, we'll see how things go. :)
