Your right Bunch, most are off limits. Maybe you could get some access by joining a ghost hunting group? Don't forget the old prisons and jails, they all have some history too.

Do not ever be tempted to approach these locations on your own---it could be very dangerous on several levels, as so many places could actually be condemned buildings, too. And I would definitely go there with an experienced group---so much safer!

Thank you Wag thank you Skie. I will be very careful. I did go to a haunted old house out in a town in the east ofNew Mexico. It was pretty scary even in the day time . I took a couple friends with me. It was dark and parts of the wall were covered in newspaper and the yard was completely overgrown . It sounded as if the house was moaning but when I looked about I saw nothing there . I even followed the sounds of the moan but felt only cold air . I kept thinking maybe it 's the wind but when I went out the side door there was no breeze at all. I looked in the attic to see if it was an owl. Maybe it was a cat but it did not sound like a cat. Then I looked for other things it could have been plumbing piping...etc. There was nothing . Sooo maybe it could have been a ghost it is the closest thing I have come to find on my ghost hunting so I hope you liked reading about my little adventure it was a small tiny house but it gave quite the fright.
