The memory is a funny and very tricky and complex piece of equipment. It is common knowledge in the courts and among trial lawyers that eye witness testimony can at times be the most unreliable of evidences. It is proven that the mind can insert visuals of things that are known to definitely not be there. For instance a woman/man turns and sees a man with his hand outstretched, hears a bang and sees a man who the other man was gesturing at, crumple to the ground. The mind hears the band, sees the other man fall from what sounds like a gunshot and the witness will testify that they saw a gun in the mans hand. They may even describe it somewhat. Even though the actual fact could be that there was a backfire from a car and the crumpled victim actually had a heart attack in fear from the loud bang. I've just made this incident from scratch to describe similar things that have happened. Psychologists have a name for it, but I can't for the life of me remember it.
Anyways cheers.
Just a personal note....... I should say, I do believe in ghosts. I do believe there is more here on earth and in heaven than we can see and hear and smell. I also try very hard to not let my beliefs run off with me too though as I am very imaginative and very much desire evidence of my beliefs which is a thing not so good for being impartial to evidence.
In other words, I believe there is the possibility we are remembering things from another incarnation. Laugh if you like---but I think I can tell the difference between vivid imaginings, and intensely vivid recollections, and the feeling of familiarity with things.
As for me personally, I was not brought up in a religion or a household where reincarnation was routinely discussed or believed. But....there have been so many unsolicited experiences surrounding these things, I feel I have to consider them at least a possibility.
AND, as that, they are more vivid than the most vivid dreams I have ever had....and those have been many.
