Dear Friends,
As I search my memory banks to retrieve my early experiences, I'm not able to construct the exact sequence of these events. Before my mother passed, I enlisted her aid so that I could write about them, but she had the same problems I had...what happened first? This could be important because the event I am about to relate could be a trigger for other things that may have followed.
I am fairly certain that it was sometime between my second and third birthday, when I became very ill. This was before vaccines were created with the exception of small pox and before the polio epidemic. It started out as a fever, but all I wanted to do was sleep. At first, my mother wasn't too concerned except she could't get me to eat! She tried but I kept falling asleep! And I wasn't getting any better.
In order to keep me from wasting away, she made raspberry junket, vanilla pudding and egg nog...all my favorites. Then she even tried vanilla ice cream! In the second week of my illness, hallucinations started! I thought the blankets on my bed were turning into water and I was going to drown. I would wake up screaming! Then the monster face came out of the wall! I watched in horror as the monster face rose up the wall, traveled on the ceiling and came to rest right over my bed! It opened it's ugly mouth and made chewing motions showing me it's teeth. His tongue licked his lips and I could hear it slurping and chewing! It grew in size until it's mouth was as big as my head! I was sure I was about to be eaten! I was wide awake and knew I wasn't dreaming. So all I could do was scream and scream!
Finally, I fell into a deep sleep! In my dream, two angels lifted me out of the bed and carried me into the clouds. The next thing I knew, I was on a roller coaster that I knew was taking me to heaven! I looked around me in wonder as the car we were in rose higher and higher. It was beautiful! I could see sun rays shimmering through ice crystals in the clouds and rainbows were all around me. I heard beautiful music. The angels were on either side of me holding my hands as we rose higher and higher!
Suddenly the car came to a stop. A third angel was standing on the track with her hands thrust out in front of her. She said, "NO!! You can't take her!" She pulled me out of the car and whisked me toward the ground. But I wasn't taken home! She left me on a wooden landing that was surrounded with a wooden railing. I was alone and afraid! I walked over to the railing and looked down into a bedroom! There was a girl laying in the bed, her long platinum blonde hair was spread over the pillow like a fan! I watched as an old man came next to her bed and looked down into her face! To my surprise, I was now sitting on top of the big wooden wardrobe in the bedroom!
I tried to call out to the girl to wake up but as I did so, I tumbled head first, off the wardrobe! I opened my eyes and stared into the face of an old man looking down at me! I screamed and screamed! The old man sighed in relief and said he thought the fever had broken and told my mother I should be ok. The old man was a doctor! My mother said I had a mild case of rheumatic fever. My mom was later told my heart hadn't been damaged, but it still took me a long time to recover.
When I'd grown, I started hearing about Near Death Experiences but I didn't connect it to what I'd always thought was a dream. As I more I read about NDE's, I began to think everything I experienced fit the criteria very nicely! I invite your comments and ask anyone with a similar experience to share it with me. I'm still not completely sure it's what I'd experienced. I now lean more toward it, mostly because I may have brought an entity back with me. That helps to explain other events that I will be sharing!
Your friend,
Jean

I have always found NDE's very interesting, and have heard and read many accounts. I don't know if Jeans was a dream or an actual NDE... but its her story and it has changed her life (her words).
