I just got out of the hospital after spending 24 hours in the ICU after the surgery believe me that was enough tme. The nourses pumped me full of antibotics and pain killers.

I would have wrote right when I got home but I was so drowsy I got home at 4:00 in the afternoon yesterday on the 5th. But I was still so drowsy rom all the pain meds the nurses gave me for my headaches and then they didn't let me sleep them off.

So now I have this new bald spot on my head and I'll see what the neurosurgeon says whenI go to see him. Thanks for all of the prayers!!!!

I know the hair grows back it's just it's all weird there for a while. I'll let you know how my neurosurgeon appointment goes.

Although I am still nauseous and I'm still vomiting with the headaches. I just hope it goes away like the PA said it would.

It has been a very busy week for me, and I have fallen asleep every time that I had a few minutes to check my messages. I have been thinking about you and praying for you , as always. Well I got nausea medication so I'm not vomiting all the time. So now I can eat some food and not vomit it up. But there are still times when I do vomit even though I'm on the medication. I have killer headaches and I don't know what to do about them. The doctors sent me home with Percocet but that just makes me sleepy and I'm almost out. I really don't know what to do here.

I'll just go ahead and pray about it like I've been doing. Maybe He'll hear me.

Thank you Settinsun the headaches are really very painful and I only have one pain pill left. I'm scared to take it until I see the neurosurgeon again. It just hurts and I threw up again today a lot. I really don't like this at all.

Well I saw the neurosurgeon and he said that because I was still vomiting with the nausea medication and I was still having headaches he set my valve pressure in my shunt at 180. He says we will give that 1 to 2 weeks to see if it works if it doesn't then he can set my valve pressure up to 200 see if that works for 1 to 2 weeks. But if that doesn't work I will need a surgery on my chest where they will cut me open and give me another valve right next to my shunt in my chest. My mom said look at the upside at least if you have to go with the surgery at least they are not doing anything to your brain. I was like this is very true!!!

Only Moms right. they won,t be doing anything to your brain.. so the worries of maybe being different if they did and not remembering people . or things like that you won,t have to worry over.. But we will pray for you . praying that the Upping the valve pressure takes to help those miserable head aches. at least the doctor does not rush on,to surgery. right away that part is good,
i believe Hes trying to get the headaches gone.. with out more surgery..
