GERD & Heartburn Support Group
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is defined as chronic symptoms or mucosal damage produced by the abnormal reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus. This is commonly due to transient or permanent changes in the barrier between the esophagus and the stomach. If you are afflicted with GERD or heartburn, join the group and find support.

This is not an easy issue to heal but it can get way better. It just takes a ton of work and discipline.
it sounds like you have gastritis and reflux. Try sleeping on a wedge all night long. Take Zantac before bed as well and or gaviscon tablets. Acid is refluxing up at night.
You have to be proactive about this issue and take control of it. You may need to do a food journal as well to see what other foods may be causing you a problem.
Work on the mental health side if you have any of those issues. Anxiety, depression etc are the number one causes of gastro issues, especially gastritis. The stomach is considered the second brain and it greatly reacts to stress etc.
Dont let these symptoms continue for long. Gastritis is very hard to get rid of the longer you have it. heartburn is easier but you need to treat it. Over time the esophagus gets damaged. Not a good thing to have happen.
I hope you feel better soon! You are not alone with this issue! Start working on it now.
