GERD & Heartburn Support Group
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is defined as chronic symptoms or mucosal damage produced by the abnormal reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus. This is commonly due to transient or permanent changes in the barrier between the esophagus and the stomach. If you are afflicted with GERD or heartburn, join the group and find support.
Really frustrating.
I'm not sure about white chocolate but I've heard dark chocolate can be tolerable for GERD sufferers. I've been eating milk chocolate lately as I'm trying to put on weight and find I can get away with it as long as I don't over-do it. As a daily snack I limit it to a few chocolate biscuits, then eat something like a yoghurt to sit on top and take a gaviscon liquid straight away afterwards.
I think that while chocolate has a lot of fat in it, but I suppose you could try it and see. Everyone's different, after all.
