I find myself going places in the car and not wanting to get out of the car. I come back home and I don't want to get out of the car. I think it's the only time I spend reflecting. Chronic tiredness from Long Covid plus the immunosupressing meds for my Crohn's is slowing me down but everything just seems a massive effort. I am dealing with the paperwork following my father's death but it's not...

Wow, it's the middle of the week already!Today is our 11 year anniversary, so we're going out to a nice dinner. I'm losing a lot of sleep these days, hence a wonky schedule and uncomfortable feelings. But I know it will pass, eventually.I hope all of you have a peaceful day, and may good things come your way!

I get it sometimes during the day and I start throwing up - and sometimes I get it in my mouth at night.
It also causes me to cough.
Losing your voice can be acid related it can effect many areas in the throat etc.
Prop yourself up at night with a sleep wedge.
Healing GERD is all about diet and reducing stress and anxiety. This is a tough issue.
Changing your diet big time makes a huge difference. You have to follow all the GERD rules. Stop eating about 7 hours before bed etc and that last meal has to be small and a very low acid type. it does take a ton of discipline to get there. Most people find that part hard. The esophagus can weaken over time with stress and a poor diet but it can get better again with some work.
I hope you are better?
I notice a common thread on this site and the gastritis site. Mental health are the number one causes of these issues. Especially anxiety. Have you had help for the extreme anxiety? Treating the mental part effectively will help you a lot. I am pretty certain of that.
I wish you some improvement soon!
