GERD & Heartburn Support Group
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is defined as chronic symptoms or mucosal damage produced by the abnormal reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus. This is commonly due to transient or permanent changes in the barrier between the esophagus and the stomach. If you are afflicted with GERD or heartburn, join the group and find support.
However, I can't say that I've heard of GERD causing chills/fever or loose stools.... this makes me think you may actually have food poisoning or some sort of stomach bug.
You mentioned post nasal drip and wanted to tell you what my doctor told me...I have yukky sinus problems too, and she said that the drainage going down into my stomach can stir up my gerd (that surprised me), and advised me to find a good OTC allergy/sinus med.
My guess would be you had a bit of gerd and tummy flu going on. Ugh, that sounds pretty miserable. Hope your feeling better now!
Hope you are feeling better today :)
