GERD & Heartburn Support Group
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is defined as chronic symptoms or mucosal damage produced by the abnormal reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus. This is commonly due to transient or permanent changes in the barrier between the esophagus and the stomach. If you are afflicted with GERD or heartburn, join the group and find support.
I've always lived in So. California. Always ate Mexican food. Unfortunately the acidity is way too much for your stomach to heal. Eventually you might be able to add some back in. I'm eating my own quesadillas and they don't bother my stomach. This is 8 months after being Dx'd. But everyone is very different on what your stomach will tolerate.
The food on the diet is not expensive. Bland, boring, but not expensive.
I hope your feeling better soon.
Gentle Hug's to you...
Thank you for the big welcome also.
