having a bad day

Guess I need a pick me up.

I have bad pain today and am struggling to swallow. The meds arent working and I feel like I will never get better. I know the doctor will ignore me when I get my second opinion. Help

I hope you are going to a gastrologist for an endoscopy for they can see what is happening down in therer. Good Luck

I really hope you are seeing a Doctor on a regular basis. If you are and you still are having pain, I suggest you find another Doctor and please find a way to get all the test completed that you can. I believe having Pain is your bodies way of telling you something is wrong and needs to be fixed. Personally I found a wonderful Doctor that has prescribed me medicine that made me believe in Miracles again. Please dont give up, help is out there... Take Care

See a Gi specialist....I am going for an ENDO and seigmiodoscopy on Monday, cannot take the pain any longer...good luck!!

I am going to the specialist on the 7th. I dont see a doctor regularly as they just told me it was stress and dismissed me! I know if I am stressed or not and I am still in pain a year later. As you said TippyTop, pain is our bodies way of saying there is something wrong.

The only thing that worries me is this second doctor works with the first one.

Oh and I never had an endo as I kept pulling it out when I was sedated. I need them to actually put me out but they dont like doing that! they found reflux during the barium meal but have just ignored that and as I said before, say it is just stress! NOT TRUE!

TippyTop, what is the medicine you got prescribed? The PPI's just don't work for me!
