GERD & Heartburn Support Group
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is defined as chronic symptoms or mucosal damage produced by the abnormal reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus. This is commonly due to transient or permanent changes in the barrier between the esophagus and the stomach. If you are afflicted with GERD or heartburn, join the group and find support.
Good luck to you, and let us know what you decide. Hugs, Sue
I sometimes need to take Ranitidine 150 mg or 300 mg at night time too. Some people even take their PPI twice a day.
Are you eating a GERD friendly diet. This is EXTREMELY important.
I have a hiatal hernia and have noticed that exercising makes it worse. Maybe you are exacerbating it without realizing it.
I would continue to call your doctor to get some relief. Keep us posted.
