GERD & Heartburn Support Group
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is defined as chronic symptoms or mucosal damage produced by the abnormal reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus. This is commonly due to transient or permanent changes in the barrier between the esophagus and the stomach. If you are afflicted with GERD or heartburn, join the group and find support.
I have developed a hiatal hernia now so seems my reflux is worse, so trying to stick with a gerd diet and lose weight a lb a week.
I had my gallbladder removed years ago and that has me wondering if thats when my reflux started. I really not sure but when I think ajbout the gallbladder producing and controlling bile and now its not there now.
Just eat a handful of food at a time then wait and eat a handful later, eat small meals. Also take a probotic that might help also.
Hopefully we can both get over this
