GERD & Heartburn Support Group
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is defined as chronic symptoms or mucosal damage produced by the abnormal reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus. This is commonly due to transient or permanent changes in the barrier between the esophagus and the stomach. If you are afflicted with GERD or heartburn, join the group and find support.

I would not, personally, use it on a regular basis, though. It contains aluminum, which may not really be good for you in the long run.
I cannot eat cilantro and when it is in something and I get a few little flakes of it my tummy goes nuts with acid...and reflux.
I use Mylanta to neutralize the acid in my throat and Gaviscon to create the barrier.
The next day, Mylanta will give you "green apple quick step" if you know what I mean...it will "clean your clock".
That is the only way I can sleep four hours after cilantro...lettuce does it to me too. Weird, I know.
So, sometimes if needed, I take a multi-enzyme tablet to help digest any oil from the food as well.
That is in addition to my daily Prilosec.
Mallox is working so far. Don't delve into to many try one thing and see how it works. Also watch your oils, caffine, sweets, spices and fatty acids..I beleive Mallox has symethicone in it as well...Sus
