GERD & Heartburn Support Group
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is defined as chronic symptoms or mucosal damage produced by the abnormal reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus. This is commonly due to transient or permanent changes in the barrier between the esophagus and the stomach. If you are afflicted with GERD or heartburn, join the group and find support.
On Saturday a dear friend helped me Feng Shui my home for better energy flow and she even researched what I needed to do with my inlamed stomach in mind.
I had to remove ALL candles, holders and matches from view. I've kept some candles in the cupboard due to black outs in my area. I had to clear my food prep area in the kitchen, removing all cooking appliances from the bench and making the space as uncluttered as possible.
All my meds.(natural and otherwise) were removed from sight and now live in the cupboard. They signify a deficiency.
She has created so much space in my home and the flow around the house is so much better. I did my office this morning giving it a much needed clean up.
Things feel great in my home now and I enjoy food preparation more than ever.

I am amazed, I have seen so many homes with the kitchen being the first thing to see when entering. In fact the home I am staying at has the main entry with this set up. I never thought about it. Food is of prime importance here, so maybe that has something to do with it.
I like my sister in laws place. The main entry has a view of the living room, and part of a stair case, it turns so that is not a concern for feng shui as far as I know. The other entry has a view of the t.v. room, and then the dining room and then kitchen. Come to think of it, I do feel more at ease in her place, and although the family has many eating together experiences, the energy is totally different. Its about connecting, not about eating.
