I have had good results with taking prevacid every night. But with my multivitamin, antidepressent, and occasional supplement for lactose intolerance and beano, I feel like I'm on too many pills? How long can I safely take this prevacid without getting addicted to it anyway?

I was on it for 9 years and I did not have withdrawal symptoms at all when I quit. The only side effect that in my opinion happened was an initial overproduction of acid. I simply would go back on Prevacid for a couple of days and quit again for a few days and so on. Within a short time the problem went away and no more pain. But as far as I know, Prevacid is not habit forming.

I have been on it for a long time // and some others like Acifex ect: all of those Acid medications my Heartburn was realy bad when Ac-acid was a Prescription, but if you want to try? taking PREVACID like i did? every other day to see how that helps but? heres what my Dr told me ... Break up taking your medication by a time fram meaning ...
take your Multis' ( Like i do ) in the Am or at night ?.. but i take my PREVACID in theAm with my coffee and i am set for the day or you can start taking over thecounter Prilosec tc ( over the counter ) that works well taking it everyother day but Only side effects that i know PREVACID has is occasionaly Dierreha
