GERD & Heartburn Support Group
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is defined as chronic symptoms or mucosal damage produced by the abnormal reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus. This is commonly due to transient or permanent changes in the barrier between the esophagus and the stomach. If you are afflicted with GERD or heartburn, join the group and find support.
Eating most yogurts are good (but many are real heavy on sugars), but I would take probiotics all the time if I was you. I have been for a couple years now (along with Greek yogurts). Although I cannot say I can tell any difference. Kind of like taking most supplements; just hope they help, but cannot prove it.
I hope you day is going well.
I totally agree with Steve! Dont worry about anitbiotics and acid reflux but they antibiotics do eliminate all the good bacteria and bad bacteria at the same time! I just eat very plain no fat yogurt. I think you should be fine!
Have a good holiday season both of you!!
Cheers to no heartburn! I have had small amounts here and there! I tried a few things I havent had for a while!
