GERD & Heartburn Support Group
Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) is defined as chronic symptoms or mucosal damage produced by the abnormal reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus. This is commonly due to transient or permanent changes in the barrier between the esophagus and the stomach. If you are afflicted with GERD or heartburn, join the group and find support.
I keep meaning to talk to the doctor about it. I always seem to be there for something else and I forget. But I have read that a cough is a side effect of GERD.
If you can't find any meds that help, you may need to make some diet and lifestyle changes for the GERD. Here is the diet I follow to get you started:

Have you tgried apple cider vinigar with the"MOTHER.?" Has you Gastro put you on REGlan? They both help, but not a great deal. But i have not put in a lot of time as I said before.
I think I had some flu or cold or something. I feel something in my lungs like water, and the annoying sensation of something gathering at the base of the throat. I stayed up all night coughing, going to the bathroom, and having heartburn. Very annyoing. I have't had these in ages. I have been sick.
I hope you all feel better.
