i am newly diagnosed. I recently told my partner the news and the response was a bit shocking. I have questions. I’m not sure what to think about all this. My partner’s initial response was comcern for me (i think).  i think my partner was crying. If my partner was, i not sure if those were tears of guilt or tears of something else. Oddly i received some support. Which i wasn’t expecting. My partner is very adamant that he doesn’t have the virus. I’m not sure if he’s in denial or what. I think he gave it to me. How often are people unaware that they have HSV-2? I feel Like after sharing such news, not one person would want to stay in the relationship. However, my partner does. That strikes me as very weird. Is that weird and highly unusual?
