Im a gay man and Ive been in a realtionship for about 3 years now with my boyfriend. We met on an online dating app and after we met sparks flew. We even decided to move to the same city together and live together. Only after a couple monts he decided he didnt want this any more, started distancing himself from me. I found that he was seeing other men so I moved out to get my own apartment. A couple months after we rekindled and found ourselves back in a relationship only this time he kept pushing and blaming me for giving other men my attention (mind you i wasnt seeing any one and the only reason I strated going out more was because i was a single man now). We managed to calm down those suspicions and we ended up moving back in together. Everything seemed to be fine then once again he tells me he feels trapped and is unsure about wanting to be with me. Later i found that he was seeing other men once again. After he begged and pleded to be back together i said yes. We worked on our selves, i took a vow of celibacy (i needed to redefine my definition of healty sex), stopped drinking, and everything seemed to be heading in the right direction. Then one night he went to a friends house warming party had a few drinks then went to a guy he's been seeing behind my back for time house and cheated on me again. I can see that he has some inner issues with sex and relationships, but i dont know how much more i can take. My Self image and self-esteem is at an all time low. I avoid my reflection. I haven't told my friends or family for fear of being judge and ridiculed. I cant get the thought of him doing this once again out of my mind. What should i Do. All advice is welcomed.
I need to tell you a little bit about DS since you are a new member and I know it's going tocbe disapointing but it's better you know. DS has been around for years and at one time it was a very popular support website for people in need and had a huge following. But when facebook and other social media sites became very popular DS took a huge hit in membership and many members left. Those that were loyal stayed but about six months ago. DS developed a new website and switched all their accounts over to the site you see now. Sadly this new site is only a shadow of the old website. I don't know what they were thinking they won't explain themselves even though they have recieved many complaints from members. The biggest problem is they took away nearly all the great features the old website had. And then they had alot of trouble getting this site up and running correctly there was so many bugs and fixes that had to take place. People got frustrated dicouraged and they loved the old site so much (so did I) and they left. So we took another big hit in membership. And now Gay man's Challenges is a virtually dead support group. There is almost "0" active members here. I'm so sorry. Wishing you all the best and I pray things work out for you. johnnyboy
