I'm a 36 m . I'm having a hard meeting new gay males I guess I don't know how and where. I act a Lil different from others it not like I can help it I have autism spectrum disorder. I look like a normal person and sometimes act normal. But the a.d.d over it sometimes. Most guys just want to hook up. Why is it do hard to meet real men and want more then a wham bam thank you. There is a few other things I'm afraid to say anything about in fear of rejection. I figured that gay community would be alittle different and not pass judgment. What dose one do fellas I'm tired of being alone??? ?

Hey. Sorry you are feeling so alone. It is difficult when you feel you have no-one to talk to. It is also difficult to make new relationships. Finding it difficult to find other like minded men who want more than a hookup is a very common theme.
This forum can provide a way of discussing the issues and getting some feedback. To try to meet guys outside of a hookup situation seems to be best done in social groups rather than the internet. Try local community gay groups for instance.

Thing is lol I don't know where to meet guys I live so far north of the big city. And it takes me awhile to get down there.

I am new to this site but I LIKE WHAT I HAVE READ. I 2 hate you are going thru a lot I AM in the same boat. Remember this if you do not get nothingelse Keep looking in the mirror at yourself and SMILE and THEN GIVE YOURSELF A BIG HUG,why?BECAUSE you are somebody and I think you are going to be alright. I to am lonely but I WANT TO REACH OUT TO ANYONE WHO WILL RESPOND.TAKE CARE.

Normally I would suggest joining a gay club or league. Attending gay events or functions. But since you live so far away.... idk. Perhaps consider moving to a more gay populated area. It's a lot to ask, but what other options do u have? How else can u meet people? Just keep putting yourself out there. Keep the faith.

Our son is high functioning autistic. He's adjusted to his 2 dads quite well but I know when he starts trying to date in a couple years, he's going to have trouble. We live about a 5 hour drive north of a big city. Not a lot of out gay people in our small city so I get what you're talking about.
I understand a bit of what you're going through and all I can say is don't give up. Keep talking to people, keep trying, things should eventually work out. Try the dating aps, not the hook up ones. Good luck, hugs
