Why is it that most 'out' homosexuals tend to be f

i am not exactly sextist, but it seems that almost all the homosexuals at my area are female, and a lot of the ones that claim to be or claim for bisexuality, are just looking for attention. it annoys me deeply, because they are offending me and other actual bi/homosexuals who actually face the bullying and issues that come with being born this way.
are all men really so insecure about their homosexuality in a way that it would lower their masculinity? stereotypes are just another myth. we all have our way of living...and i don't even remember my point at this ...um..point. i am happy i got that rant over with though...

I feel the same way, except where I'm at there are few guys who are out but they are extremely feminine, walking around with purses and shit. And all the girls say they are bi but they only seem to date guys. There's a reason I'm not out yet.

i can hear you there. i havent seen any flamer guys, but there are only maybe two or three gay males and their taken, so i have found no reason to come out to anyone worth it here.

that's weird because it is the complete opposite for me! everyone who is out by me are guys when all i want is some lesbians...so disappointing!

I completely agree with you rant about the girl who say they are "bi" to get attention. I makes me made because I am truly bisexual and the fact is at my old high school if I had come out while I was dating my boyfriend at the time everyone would have said I was just doing it for attention like all the other girls and ugh. just so annoying.

But my old school was the same way, we had a lot of "bi" girls and several flamboyant gay guys, as well as several masculine gay guys but only a couple lesbians...if there had more maybe I would have come out, but there weren't.
