It will get easier! I told my friend and she wont talk to me, yes it hurts, but atleast I know now what she's really like. If people are going to hate you just because you are lesbian than they need to get a life. If they really are your friends they wont care and they'll be supportive!

take a deep breath and think about it. If they are really ur friends then they'll accept you for who you are. It is REALLY hard to come-out but once you do then you can be who you really are. When someone doesn't talk to you then it does really hurt, but ur true friends will stick by you and when it comes to ur parents, they will probably be shocked and don't expect them to accept it right away, but they will come to accept it in time. My dad tried to abolish my social life and wouldn't let me go anywhere or let anyone over. He got over it. You deserve to be happy and to be urself.

I had the same problem alwasy worrying about wif im guna be disowned by mi folks and ditched by mi mates but this is where you find out who your reali mates are and as for you parents you know eventually they'll accept it if you're happy they're learn to eaccept you for who you are so dont get down if they dont show that rite away but be yourself

every one is different in how they react if you come out, if your friends don't care how you like other girls, thats cool, but family is harder. they may or may not disown you for coming out. If they still own you, then thats good, but if they disown you, you have to move on. at some point in your life, things will get easier

so far i have been lucky i have told a few friends and they have ben ok with it. But i know my parents wont be which it why i wont be telling then for a long time yet.

It's true, you see a whole new side to people that you though were your friends when they find out that your gay. The reason I came out to my friends was because I didn't want to keep pretending I was a way I wasn't and the best friends are still my friends, all I'm saying is true people that are there for you will come around, but there all gonna be a litte shocked at first. Then again everyone already thoguh that I was gay b4 I came out, cause I'm so butch and affectionate with the ladies lol
As for the whole disowning thing. It's a touchy subject, that much is true. But parents that kick ther kids out just because the're gay shouldn't have had kids in the first place in my opinon, maybe that's a little harsh but that's how I feel.

Everyone that has replied has made some awsome points i went through the same thing the only reason i cam out to my friends was because i couldnt take not being able to be myself and i was really expecting them to stop talking to me but they didnt and when i told my family i was expecting them to give me so long to pack and kick me to the cirb so i had aranged to stay with a friend if they did disowen me and like someone said if ur parents disowen them then y the hell did they have a kid.......if ur friends just stop talking to you then screw them they were never friends and ur paernts im sure they will be really shocked and they may or may not come around to it but it dose get better way better trust me if u need ant more advice or just need someone to talk to u can message me and ill respond as soon as i can..We R here for you
