First off, welcome to the site (saw that you started today haha) but here's the thing. Some people don't label themselves anything, but if you still want to put a label on it, I'd still call you bisexual and the reason for that is simple, you like both genders. Yes, you may like girls way more, but being bisexual doesn't require you to like both genders equally, you just have to like both genders.

Since you do, you're still labeled bisexual in my opinion anyway. I use my girlfriend a lot as an example, but she's bisexual and she likes both genders. She told me "I love girls way more, but the fact is, I'm attracted to both sexes, but I can live without one or the other". I dont know if this will be much help but i am in kind of the same predicament. I like guys way more than girls but this past new years i got really intoxicated and ended up sleeping with my, now, ex-bestfriend. After this i wasnt sure about whether i was straight or gay so i labeled myself as bisexual...I then began to act that way at school to reduce bullying from certain individuals. However recently i have become increasingly depressed and I am trying to become more confident with my sexuality, which I consider to be GAY, because i am far more attracted to men than women and i think you should just not care what others label you and just try and find yourself, which could take a lot of time, which i am coming to realize...The one thing to remember is that what others label/think of you doesnt mean crap, but your personal opinion of yourself is what should matter the most to you.

@seanparker: It seems like your situation is a little different though, the tiny detail is yeah you said you are attracted to both genders, but you also acted on being with a guy and the way your emotions are reacting is probably because you don't feel like you fit in to the bisexual stereotype (my thoughts anyway. I'm no doctor) and people can date the opposite sex and do it as more of a cover up (or beards as they call it now) so my thought is because of the way your emotions are reacting, like the increase in depression, if I could label you I'd say you were gay because as I said when your emotions turn (for the worse) in this situation it's usually because you feel like you're not in the right label or sometimes body (not saying you're transgendered).

But I agree with you, like I told her; you don't even have to label yourself as anything, but you. But I hope I helped you both out in some way (:

You all worry way too much about labels. Sexual orientation isn't proved by experience. It doesn't matter how many boyfriends or girlfriends you've had. You don't have to tell anyone anything. You love who you love and that's all that matters. resist the labeling pressures of society.

Bisexual doesn't always mean you like both genders equally. Some people who identify as bi like one gender more than the other.

That still makes you bi. Some people who are bi like both genders equally, some like guys more than girls, and some like girls more than guys! Just keep on the right track; sexuality is fluid!

keep in mind, you don't have to label yourself at all! Don't feel pressured to label yourself a certain way, especially if you're not 100% confident in that label. I though I was bi for the longest time, but now I identify as gay. Don't stress about finding a label, you'll figure it out eventually! And if you need someone to talk to, I'm here.
