And if they expect it well half the battle is won.
Anyway, We met about 2 years after the whole online thing, I told my family she was just my "best friend" ( I wouldn't recommend that )
I just recently came out about 8 months ago and it was the most relieving feelings, felt like a HUGE weight lifted off my shoulders. I didn't have to pretend to be someone I wasn't. I wish I had told a loooooong time ago.
In my opinion, it's better to tell your parents sooner rather than later. The more you wait the worse it'll get. And half the time it's not as bad as you think it's going to be. It WILL be hard for them to cope at first, they might think it's a phase, or they might think someone turned you this way. Give them time, if they ask questions after you tell them , ANSWER THEM. Don't leave them in the dark, let them into your lifestyle.
Just a word of advice, SIT YOUR PARENTS DOWN, and talk to them in all seriousness. If you need to cry, cry.
And I promise, once you come out you'll feel AMAZING.
If you ever need anything, I'm here!
Good luck hun! xo
