my name is molly, i'm 14 years old, i live in england, and i just found out about this site! i've been 'out' to close friends for a year and a half and i think my parents already know without me having to tell them. no one at my school knows about my sexuality so i think i'll have trouble finding a girlfriend, or people to talk to about it in general- our school has nothing in place for the LGBT community so it's kinda not spoken about much. i've only been in a proper relationship once and i loved being in love. if anyone wants to talk about anything, shoot me a message! it's been a while since i've met new people and someone who understands the way i feel would be nice. thank you!
It's great you already have some great friends who you're so comfortable to come out to, and you've come to a great site to find more you can relate to as well.
Coming out is such aliberating experience. You may even pick up on some tips and different experiences from other LGBTQ folks here on how to come out to your parents when you feel comfortable enough to do so. There are lots of people (myself included if you'd like) who'd be glad to offer you an ear. Some of us are luckier than others in terms of their family and friends support. It takes allot of strength as well.
I'm 25 now and I've been out of the closet since I was about 19. I'd known I was attracted to other women when I was 13 but because of school and fears of being bullied I kept quiet. With friends, they figured it out way before I decided to talk to them too. :P
As fardatinggoes now, I'd urge you not to just rush in. Enjoy being you. Have a think about what type of girls you are attracted to. Know what you deserve and who deserves you. You're important. Don't forget that.
