When ever I tell my dad that i'm gay, he always looks confused or disappointed, i already knew from the start that dad wanted a normal daughter like a strait one, but i can't help it i was born like this and even though it's taken me a long time to realize it since i had no idea what "gay" even was until i entered high school!

I thought it'd would have been nice if someone had told me sooner since i have a feeling that's what maybe triggered my depression, but the fact that when ever a girl came up to me i'd instantly hesitate and didn't know what to do and i would get all bubbly inside and really happy when they talked to me.I acted completely different than i did with guys and i had a good amount of guy friends.

When dad starts to think about it he just doesn't understand at all! He just looks at me and tells me "you just haven't met the right man" or "it's just a phase you'll get over it!", excuse me but how would you explain that the fact that i just can't see myself with a boy let alone the only reason i wen't out with boy(s) was because i still didn't understand myself! I was confused, lonely, depressed and i felt no one would answer my questions...and you taught me this way i didn't know what to do, i didn't want to disappoint you, though i just wasn't in love with guys, i couldn't find myself marrying a guy either...

i wanted you to be happy and proud of me, instead i see a disappointed father, confused of what to do next, wondering what happened to his daughter and why? why she would choose a path like this...You try your best to understand how i feel, and you ask me questions about my preferred sexuality, i'm sure it will take awhile to understand but please no more of the stupid guy jokes and try to understand how i feel, how difficult it is! because trust me it's a lot more difficult to take in, than you ever thought it would be.

So everyone can you help me show him, what it means to be "fabulously gay"! or what?!! :D
