In handling your situation, perhaps you could talk to her about the benefits that an all-girls school would bring. If she recognizes that it may be an overall positive experience for you, then she'll have enough reason why to think about it.

For example, one thing you could say to her is that a same-sex environment could aid in cutting out any extra distractions for learning, and being with all girls could help your comfort level with in-class participation, as well.

look for schools up north like simmons or mt. holyoke or bryn mawr, because the all-girl schools down south tend to have more conservative student bodies and aren't so much a gay environment. trust me, i'm at an all-girls school in virginia. not to say they're not gay-friendly at all, just lesbians are scarce, haha.
good luck! tell your parents you want a more studious environment or something.

If you want to that much you should come with a good excuse like. "Guys at my school are just perverted and at an all girl school i'd have a little more freedom" Or something like that

Well girls do better in all girls schools.
and just say boys are distracting you from your school work or something

its not as great as you'd think. coming from an all guys school, i can tell you that unless the majority of people are gay too you will be faced with incredible opposition. in my situation gays are seen as a disease. since gays have sex with guys that means that any gay guy there will immediately try to to have sex with every guy they see.

yeah i go to an all girls school.
mostly everyone is straight or not out.
everyone who is out is mostly taken.
but if its what you really want then go for it cause there will be some lesbians they just might be hard to find.
make up some excuse like the boys stall the class by messing and you never get anything done or boys cant keep their hands to themselves or just that you would feel more comfortable and relaxed with all girls.

I go to an all-girls Catholic school (I'm not Catholic, very not.) and I think I would feel more comfortable in a boy/girl school because it would have more diversity. I wouldn't know, but just make sure you weigh up the options before you completely decide.

I dont really see how an all girls school will help you... I guess there would be more lesbians but I think most of them would be more afraid to admit it. In my experience guys in general are more accepting, but I suppose that depends.

I would think this school would be full of then because it said they support students no matter the orienation, plus one teacher is gay.

I go to an all girls school here in texas and the girls are actually pretty chill with gays. I'm the only out freshman and everyone accepts it and i've dated three or four of our upperclassman. I love being at an all girls school. Its called Incarnate Word High School and its catholic, we've got another one here in town thats all girls called providence but idk how accepting they are.

All girls schools are great learning environments where you don't have to prove you can run with the guys. I'm def looking at all girl colleges for the acedemics. The ivy league schools have all girl sister schools that rock.
