Honestly I think that lady was EXTRAMLY out of line I don't think anyone has the right to judge anyone and don't worry bout wat other people say if your happy your happy your parents ok with that's the only thing that should matter. I'm religious yet I know God will love me no matter wat that lady is wrong and SHE is the one who will be punished cause I don't see how in anyway that is right

I really appreciate that...I just wish I was strong enough to brush it off...it scares my girl cuz she thinks they will influence me to leave her and that's not true I just don't kno how to ignore it...I've always been one to speak up and defend myself And seem strong but inside it crushes me

I agree with Confused, I think her comments were very out of line. Obviously this woman is lacking in the manners department. I suggest you learn to take it from where it comes and try not to let it get to you. You could think to yourself, "Okay, no reason to get myself so upset, she's just some ignorant lady who doesn't know me, and I have a right to feel happy with my girlfriend." She has no right to ask such nosy questions, either. I can totally understand why you got so angry. If this happens again, try saying something like: "I really wouldn't like to get in to this discussion, it's making us feel uncomfortable." Try to gently get her away from you. Or say, "I'm happy with her, and that's what's important to me." The more maturely you act, the more likely she is to stop pestering you. Once the encounter is over, focus on enjoying your girlfriend's company instead of dwelling on such a rude woman. Don't be sad. It sounds like you have a great girlfriend! I wish you both the very best! :)

Totally understand all your anger and fustration, i honestly dont like chatting with random strangers who stick their noses into other people's businesses. Nicole is right, all you have to do is react maturely so as to not let that rude person's comments get to you

I would typically try to avoid or gently get away from the situation though since i prefer to enjoy life's bliss
