Last year I confronted a good friend of mine, because she always slaps peoples' butts and kisses her friedns (and me) on the cheek. I asked her if she like girls, and she admitted she did, but she also likes boys. Her friends arereligous and so are her parents, so nobody knows she is bi except for me. I am bi too, and I just told her like a week ago. Neither of us are out, but I'm starting to fall for her.....can I ask her out even if it isn't public? We're in high school and neither of us is ready to come out. I don't know if she likes me, but It sort of seems like it. What should I do?

p.s I've never asked anyone out, and I've never dated a girl, since I just recently realized I was Bi.

It's very possible you can date each other without being open publicly, but it is very hard sometimes from what I've heard. My girlfriend's mom doesn't know she's bi yet either and I don't know when she's planning to tell her, but you do have to be more careful.

If she's worth it I say you do it, but just be really careful. As for not having any experience with the same sex, don't worry about it, just go with the flow and asking someone out is hard, but just try and if she says no then don't worry about it; there are other people.
