Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
You tube has some videos on gastritis. One doctor said to take glutamine. I also read that zinc carsonine is good as well,but I don't know where to get that. So I looked up the constituents of Aloe vera. It appears that it has glutamine and zinc in it,also lots of amino acids,vitamins and minerals and enzymes. It has a lot of the things recommended for the stomach and digestion. So its back to the Aloe vera I think apart from probiotics and Slippery elm. Slippery elm on You tube? I don't know.
There was some discussion here a while back on zinc carnosine (Pepzin GI). I stil have not tried it, but am still considering it.
