Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

what yogurt can we eat? how many in a day is good to eat?

I thought yogurt was dairy and dairy is not good for gastritis.

All depends on if it bothers you or not.

I personally cannot tolerate it but a a few people around here say they enjoy it with no problems.

I was okay with yoghurt all the way through. It's good for our gut.

Is their a particular brand or flavor of yogurt that anyone would suggest? I have tried the vanilla Active but I don't think that faired well with me as I recall.

I love the Brown Cow yogurt and... I eat a lot of ice cream!!
