Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
I was getting light headed a lot when it was really bad, now not so much, but still get it once in a while.
Yesterday I picked a fresh sugar baby watermelon from the garden and ate the whole watermelon, half a melon with one meal. It didn't make me sick! and i still feel okay this morning. That makes me really happy because I've got tons of melons in the garden. Watermelon is supposed to be good for inflammation and healing too, plus its so good mmm, was so nice to eat something besides oatmeal.
