Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

Vanilla Yougurt, Banana, and some whole grain toast. Spread the consumption out a bit between the yogurt/banana with the bread.

Banana & Yogurt has been my breakfast for 8 weeks.

In the beginning of the illness I ate a banana and a carrot spinach smoothie each morning,made with carrot juice, fresh spinach and water.

I need more carbs for breakfast like pancakes or French toast if I ate a yogurt and banana I'd be hungry in one hr. I wake up,so,hungry I have to eat right away. I was never that way before gastritis.
I have my yogurt for a dessert after lunch.

In the beginning anything I coukd safely eat. It could have been broth or steamed vegies. Now it's mostly fruit and yoghurt.

Watered down orange juice, green tea, a granola bar, banana, and a yogurt, all spread out over 3 hours.

I have been eating this way for years.

I am on Prilosec, and I've had gastritis for 14 months
