Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.

Your diet is really good anyway, how are you kicking this session in the arse to get back to where you were?

That's why I live this page.
With the IBS it can chop and change as to what will be okay one day and not the next. My gastritis plays nice for the most part.
I am eating smaller portions again and simple food. Mind you spicy food never gives me grief, go figure. I started taking slippery elm again a few days ago so hopefully that kicks in and kicks arse soon.

Bought the Slippery Elm, lets hope it slithers on down and works some magic.
Hugs to all you guys for being so helpful.

I think it happens when my body is fighting something & all those white blood cells mobilise & cause grief again like they did when they invaded the lining of our stomachs to cause the inflammation.
