Gastritis Support Group
Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
I'm pretty new here and have been slowly browsing the threads. Due to the setup of these boards, topics are repeated and key topics are not pinned at the beginning. So I think some of the oldtimers must get quite weary of the same questions being asked.
As for weight loss/gain, here is one thread with 10 replies. You can search for the topic as I don't think my link will lead you to the same forum:
Topic is:

Your topic title was also asked before by littlemart on 8/17/14

Hope this helps. :)
I also can't eat dairy foods and have to eat glutenfree foods. Whatever people have recommended to me is off-limits. Too much fats at one go makes me nauseous.
I'm seeing a RD/nutritionist now and a MD who is also board certified in integrative wellness. Hoping to get more information also about my post-GB and how to eat.
