Gastritis is a medical term for inflammation of the lining of the stomach. It means that white blood cells move into the wall of the stomach as a response to some type of injury. Gastritis has many underlying causes, from infection with the bacterium H. pylori, bile reflux, or excessive consumption of alcohol or certain foods or drugs like aspirin.
I've been tempted by coffee, big mistake. I really miss my coffee.

Do what feels right for you and remember to prepare for the pain if the ingredient causes a reaction.
Drank some alcohol the other day.. not too much, but just 1 glass and had some spicy food.... individually I seem ok, but I guess together, not so good.. my stomach has been acting up for the last 3-4 days... Now taking a little break from the normal diet.
